Warmheatsauna Use Safety Tips

Using your Warmheatsauna properly ensures a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience. Please carefully follow the guidelines below before use.

1. Health & Medical Considerations

• If you have any medical conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, respiratory issues, or are taking prescription medications, consult your doctor before using the sauna.
• Sauna use is not recommended for women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
• Do not use the sauna if you feel unwell, fatigued, or dizzy.
• Discontinue use immediately if you experience discomfort, nausea, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
• Sauna use is not recommended for individuals under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or certain medications.

2. Recommended Usage Time

• A typical sauna session should last 15–30 minutes, depending on your comfort level and physical condition.
• Beginners are advised to start with shorter sessions and gradually increase duration over time.
• If you feel overheated or uncomfortable, exit the sauna immediately and rest.
• For first-time users, using the sauna one to two times per week is recommended initially.
• Always follow your doctor’s advice if you have a medical condition.

3. Hydration & Moisture Safety

• Sauna use causes sweating and fluid loss, so drink water before and after your session to stay hydrated.
• Avoid alcohol consumption before or during sauna use.
• Do not use the sauna if you are dehydrated or experiencing a hangover.
• Proper hydration helps reduce the risk of dizziness, overheating, and fatigue.

4. Temperature & Heating Guidelines

• Each Warmheatsauna includes safety instructions and warnings that must be read before use.
• Traditional steam saunas operate at a maximum temperature of up to 90°C (194°F). Pouring water on sauna stones increases humidity and may cause rapid temperature changes.
• Far infrared saunas operate at lower temperatures, with a maximum setting of up to 65°C (149°F), typically reaching 50–60°C (122–140°F) after 10–15 minutes.
• Most Warmheatsaunas are equipped with automatic temperature sensors that stop heating if the internal temperature exceeds safety limits.
• You may allow the sauna to preheat for 5–10 minutes before entering for a more comfortable experience.

5. Clothing & Towel Recommendations

• In a private sauna, users may choose to use the sauna without clothing.
• Wearing heavy or tight clothing may cause overheating.
• If clothing is worn, choose a bathing suit or loose-fitting garments that allow the skin to breathe.
• It is recommended to use two towels—one to sit on and one to wipe away sweat during the session.

6. Cooling Down After Sauna Use

• Do not immediately enter cold water after leaving the sauna.
• Allow your body to cool down naturally in a cooler environment for 5–10 minutes.
• A lukewarm or cool shower is recommended after cooling down.
• Avoid sudden temperature changes, especially for first-time users.

7. General Safety Tips

• Never use the sauna alone if you have health concerns.
• Do not sleep inside the sauna.
• Keep children and pets away unless supervised and approved by a healthcare professional.
• Always follow the user manual provided with your Warmheatsauna.
